From Railroad Warehouse to Brewhouse
The copper line that names us still runs the length of the building — it carried steam for the railroad in 1919, and it carries wort today.
Founders Mara and Jonah Ellery bought the warehouse in 2016, kept every brick and beam they could, and installed a 10-barrel system around that original copper. We brew with Illinois-grown grain where we can, peaches and apples from Union County orchards, and water we are frankly a little proud of. No distribution beyond the county line — if you want Copperline, you come to Anna.
